About Us

StarsSutra is a Vedic astrology practice built on one principle: guidance should be specific to you, or it is not guidance at all.

Most people meet astrology through a daily horoscope column that lumps a twelfth of humanity into one paragraph. That is not what Jyotish is. A real reading begins with your date, time and place of birth — the three details that produce one chart in the world — and works outward from there using a tradition refined over centuries.

What We Do

We bring together the four things a serious seeker usually has to source separately.

Consultations. Live one-to-one sessions with verified astrologers in Vedic astrology, Nadi astrology, numerology and Vastu. Your chart is prepared in advance, so the session is spent on interpretation and your questions rather than data entry.

Courses. Structured learning for people who want to read a chart themselves rather than always be read to. Our courses move from first principles to a repeatable method, with worked examples.

Written guidance. Our journal explains the tradition plainly, including where its limits are.

How We Work

Every reading starts with your chart

Not your sun sign. Your ascendant changes roughly every two hours, which means two people born on the same day in the same city can receive entirely different guidance. We ask for your exact birth time for that reason, and if you do not know it, we tell you honestly which parts of the reading become less certain.

Our astrologers are verified before they meet a client

We check classical training and consultation history. A practitioner who has memorised keywords and one who has studied the sources are different things, and only one of them can explain their reasoning when you ask.

Your details stay private

Birth details, session notes and anything you discuss are confidential. They are shared only with the astrologer conducting your reading and are never sold or passed to third parties for marketing.

We tell you what astrology cannot do

This matters more than any claim we could make. Jyotish describes tendencies, timing and pressure. It does not deliver certainty, it does not make your decisions, and it is never a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. Any practitioner promising guaranteed outcomes is selling something other than astrology.

The Traditions We Practise

Vedic Astrology (Jyotish). The classical Indian system, working from the sidereal zodiac, the twelve bhavas, the nine grahas and the Vimshottari dasha for timing. This is the foundation everything else rests on.

Nadi Astrology. The palm-leaf tradition, which works from thumb impression and bundle identification rather than a calculated chart. We present it as a study of method and lineage, and we are candid about how it is practised.

Vedic Numerology. Life path, destiny, birth and name numbers, each tied to a graha — which is what connects the system back to Jyotish rather than leaving it floating on its own.

Vastu Shastra. Directional and elemental principles applied to real homes and workplaces, including the rented flat you cannot rebuild. Practical corrections, not demolition.

Who We Are For

People at a decision point who want a considered perspective. Students of Jyotish who want structure rather than scattered videos. Anyone who has been quoted an alarming price for an urgent remedy and wants a second opinion from someone with no stake in the sale.

We are probably not the right fit if you want a guaranteed prediction, or a stone that will fix a situation without any effort on your part. We would rather say so now than take your money and disappoint you.

Where to Begin

If you have a specific question, book a consultation and bring it with you — a focused question produces a far more useful reading than “tell me about my life”.

If you want to learn the craft, our courses start from first principles and assume no prior knowledge.
